What style is your photography?

I am a high-energy person who shoots in a documentary style.   I want you to be able to look back on your day twenty years from now and remember not only the main points of the day, but the details as well.

Will we have an option for black and white photos?

Always!   Unless otherwise requested, I include a few images here and there in black and white when I deliver your media disk.   In these cases, I include both the color as well as the b/w image.   If there is an image you would like to be converted to black and white, just let me know and I can set that up for you.   Shooting in RAW format enables me to create crisp black and white images from the original color photo.

Can we meet to review your work and put together packages?

Absolutely!  I offer a free wedding photography consultation where you can view my work and put together the best wedding package possible for you.  I love to meet new people and talk photography!

Is an engagement session an option, and would you even recommend it?

The engagement session is included in every wedding photography package for a variety of reasons.   Having an hour and a half session with the three of us gives you the opportunity to get used to having your picture taken and being directed into different poses.   It also gives you the opportunity to get to know my style as well as me as a person.   When your big day comes, I don’t want to just be another random person at your wedding.   I want you to feel as if I am just another friend that comes to your wedding who just happens to be taking pictures.

How many photos should we expect to receive?

I strive to deliver quality over quantity, but I do not limit how many pictures you will receive.   I normally deliver between 900 and 1200 images.

Do we have to choose our images from a list of proofs, and are there watermarks on the images you send?

You will receive all of the full resolution, edited images on a DVD for you to print to your heart's content.   I never watermark the images I send you, and the disk is yours to keep.

Can we print our own photos or make our own albums from where we prefer?

Included in all my wedding packages is a print release that allows you to print as many pictures in whatever fashion you would like.

How many photographers are included?

All packages come with me as the primary photographer.   If you would like extra photographers, that is an option.

Do you tour the venue before the wedding?

If it is a location that I have not been to before, and it is within driving distance, I do visit the venue about a week prior to your big day.   If it is out of range, I research the venue, look at pictures of other weddings that have taken place there and try to speak with someone there to get a feel for how things are laid out.

How long does it usually take to receive our images?

On average, it takes about 4-6 weeks to get your images to you.

We signed the contract.   What’s next?

After we’ve signed the contract and put down a deposit to reserve your wedding date, we connect and schedule your engagement session.   After that, I will call you about a week before your wedding to make sure there are no last minute questions or changes.   The next time we will meet will be your wedding day!   Of course, any time in between I am always available for any questions you may have, so please don’t hesitate to ask!

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me!
